Horizon 2030 brought a host of activities to the Cinquantenaire this summer, making this historic site into THE place to be. Our online diary was the living proof of this, with activities galore for everyone!
During the event, the Cinquantenaire Peristyle under the arcades was open to the public on an exceptional basis, offering a breathtaking view from the top of the stairs.
Many of you took advantage of our FREE and varied programme, which was full of discoveries to enjoy with friends or family: the Guinguette Tipi Cinquantenaire, conferences, activities for children, workshops, games, exhibitions, dance, DJ sets…and even a geocaching game to explore the most beautiful corners of the park!
Horizon 2030 groups together popular and brand-new events based on heritage, scientific research and culture. Thanks to the support of our partner institutions, you could discover exhibitions, take part in workshops, listen to speeches, or simply relax in the park, the nearby museums or at the Peristyle.
In the run-up to Belgium’s bicentenary in 2030, the Cinquantenaire invited you to explore its exceptional museum collections and to rediscover the park in a new perspective of innovation and encounters. This ambitious project is led by the non-profit organisation Horizon 50-200 and was made possible thanks to the support of the National Lottery and its players.
Thanks to everyone for taking part and we look forward to seeing you at future events!
