There's no need to register for the Discovery lunches, which take place from 12:00 to 13:00.
Bring your own lunch or order and pay for one of the delicious dishes from the Tipi Cinquantenaire guinguette.
The space is covered. Conferences will only be moved in the event of the park being closed. This information will be communicated via our social networks and in the calendar on this website.

Speaker: Gontran Sonet, Royal Institute of Natural Sciences.
Topic: DNA from the past: new evidence for old questions.
This conference is in English.
Context:
DNA can be recovered from natural history collections and archaeological remains. This historical or ancient DNA is a precious source of information to study past biodiversity and human history. We will present some research studies performed at the Royal Belgian Institute of Natural Sciences about medieval sculptured ivory, pre-Columbian human remains and ancient aurochs.
